The Asahi Pentax SL (1968) is the meterless version of the celebrated Spotmatic — mechanically identical but without the TTL metering circuitry, making it lighter, simpler and entirely battery-free. Beautifully built with the same smooth operation as the Spotmatic, it uses the universal M42 screw mount. Offered here with the highly regarded Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4, one of the finest standard lenses of its era.
