Of Italian origin, Paolo Roversi settled in Paris in 1973. Since then, he has worked for prestigious magazines (Italian and French Vogue, Egoïste, Luncheon…) and his career is marked by his collaboration with the greatest fashion designers.

From his apprenticeship years, the choice of the studio, the large-format camera, and the Polaroid defined his way of working and the photographer’s aesthetic, who successfully adapts to digital. His signature is instantly recognizable: soft tones and sepia from black and white in daylight, density and depth of colors under the light of a torch. Over the years, Paolo Roversi has sought, invented his own photographic language, welcoming chance and accidents as opportunities to renew himself.

The greatest models have stood before his lens. They always pose with simplicity; their presence is intense. Each of his fashion photographs is a portrait.
