A rare original Rabobank steel safe, produced circa 1990, complete with its original Rabobank instruction card (Kluispas) bearing the original combination code. Safes that have remained complete with their original documentation are encountered far less frequently, making this an especially attractive collector’s piece.
Constructed in heavy steel and finished in its original grey hammer-tone coating, the safe features a fully functional mechanical combination lock operated by the original rotary dial. The locking mechanism works correctly, and the door opens and closes smoothly.
The interior retains its original shelf and is embossed with the “Rabobank 01” marking, further enhancing its authenticity. Beyond its practical function, this safe is a distinctive piece of Dutch banking history and an appealing industrial decorative object.
