Handcrafted Isididae coral necklace from Torre del Greco, Italy, 45 cm long, weighing 24.5 g, with a rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver clasp.
Description from the seller
Handcrafted Isididae Coral Necklace with Rhodium-Plated 925 Sterling Silver Clasp
Elegant graduated necklace entirely handcrafted by Perna Laboratorio Orafo, an independent artisan goldsmith workshop based in Torre del Greco, Italy, a city internationally renowned for its long-standing tradition in coral craftsmanship.
The necklace is composed of carefully selected polished Isididae coral beads, commercially classified as top quality and attributed to Pacific Ocean origin.
The graduated design begins with smaller beads measuring approximately 5 mm and progressively increases towards the central section, where the largest beads measure approximately 8 mm.
The natural differences in colour, tone, surface and shape visible among the beads are characteristic of organic material and underline the individuality of this handcrafted jewel. These natural features must not be considered defects.
The necklace is completed with a substantial spring-ring clasp and handcrafted terminals in rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver. The 925 hallmark is clearly visible in the photographs.
Each component was individually selected, assembled and finished by hand in the Perna Laboratorio Orafo workshop. This is not an industrially mass-produced item.
