Italian origin tablecloth, model Tovaglia con pizzo Cantù, in beige pure linen with extensive handmade Cantù lace, measuring 270 x 170 cm and accompanied by twelve coordinating napkins, in unused condition dating from the 1960s.
Description from the seller
A prestigious table service, made in pure beige linen and finished with an important Cantù lace, entirely handmade.
The amount of lace is extraordinary, both on the table surface and along the entire perimeter of the tablecloth.
To make it even more remarkable, the hand-embroidered motifs in grey tones that harmonize perfectly with the lace, creating an ensemble of great elegance.
The set is completed by twelve coordinating napkins, each finished with lace trim on the edge and corner, a detail that testifies to the high quality of the workmanship.
The tablecloth has never been used and has been carefully preserved for decades.
It shows only very light and sporadic traces of long-term storage, to be expected for an antique textile, without compromising the beauty or usability of the set.
The photos are an integral part of the description and document in detail the quality of the workmanship and the state of conservation.
