Exceptional set in solid silver (1.15 kg) – Rocaille style – Silversmith Léon Berchot or Léon Boivin?

Collector's piece: Exceptional 18-piece silver service (Minerva Head First Title).

I am offering for sale a set of French goldsmithing from the late 19th century, believed to have been produced by a prestigious Paris house (master mark LB with scales, active from 1893).

This set is distinguished by its finely wrought Rocaille foliage decor with remarkable finesse and a rare depth of chasing. Unlike standard productions of the era, this is a special commission called the “Heavy Model,” offering exceptional density and grip (85 g for a single fork).

Characteristics & Condition:
Hallmarks: Minerva Head 1st Title (925/1000) and Master Mark Léon Berchot perfectly legible on each piece.

Monogram: Single letter "G" finely calligraphed in an English style. The advantage of a single letter makes this set easy to appropriate for a family or as a personalized gift (G for Gabriel, Guillaume, Garnier, Girard, etc.) or even "God" or "Gnosis" for a religious style.

Condition: Superb. The fork tines are long (not worn), the bowls are perfect. The silver patina beautifully enhances the baroque decor.
