Description from the seller

Elegant antique burr mahogany pedestal desk, with a flat top, supported by four turned feet.
It features a five-drawer front (four side drawers and a central drawer) adorned with molded bronze handles with rosette decorations.

The top is lined with green leather framed by a gilded frieze, providing a refined contrast with the deep grain of the mahogany.
The drawer fronts showcase a very beautiful flame mahogany veneer, characteristic of high-quality furniture from the 19th century.

With its balanced proportions and sober lines, this desk fits equally well in a classic or contemporary interior.

The whole piece shows a fine antique patina that testifies to its authenticity.

Good overall condition; see photos.

Some signs of use, scratches, small bumps and wear in keeping with age. The leather shows wear from use. The locks are present, but one rosette is missing on the top-left drawer; their operation and the presence of a key are OK.
