Grande Servizio da Tavola Zeh Scherzer Bavaria (31 pz + Scorte) - Oro Zecchino e Tralci Floreali - Circa 1940
Refined and important complete dinner service from the prestigious German manufactory Zeh Scherzer & Co. (Rehau, Bavaria), dating from the golden period of production between 1930 and 1950.
The service is made in fin white porcelain, characterized by the splendid wavy form (Model No. 146) and enriched by the decor No. 396, featuring elegant and delicate floral tendrils in romantic pink and yellow tones, finished with a rich border in solid gold. All pieces bear the original green mark with crown under-glass on the bottom.
The true rarity of this lot lies in the presence of as many as 7 large coordinated serving pieces, difficult to find all together and preserved in excellent condition.
The service is composed of a total of 31 useful pieces, divided as follows:
• 12 Flat Plates (Ø 25 cm, h 3 cm) - Perfect condition
• 6 Soup Plates (Ø 25 cm, h 4.5 cm) - Perfect condition
• 5 Fruit/Dessert Plates (Ø 20 cm, h 2.2 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Large Soup Toter with Original Lid (Length 36 cm including handles, overall height 19 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Fruit Center Plate/Tine centerpiece with goblet-style pedestal (Ø 23 cm, h 12 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Circular Salad Bowl (Ø 24 cm, h 6 cm) - Perfect condition
• 1 Monobloc Sauce Boat with oval fused base to the cup (Base 26x14 cm, max h 10 cm) - Shows a slight and superficial vertical pitting of about 3 cm visible both inside and outside, with no chips or cracks (stable).
• 3 Serving Plates/Trays in progressive sizes:
o Large: 33.5 x 22.5 cm (h 2.5 cm) - Perfect condition
o Medium: 28 x 18.5 cm (h 2.5 cm) - Perfect condition
o Small: 23.5 x 13.5 cm (h 3 cm) - Perfect condition

To ensure maximum completeness and value for the buyer, the lot includes as free spare pieces:
• 5 Extra Flat Plates (Ø 25 cm) in perfect condition
• 1 Extra Flat Plate (Ø 25 cm) that has a crack with glued corner (complete, with no missing chips).
(Bringing the total number of flat plates included in the shipment to 18 pieces).
CONDITION:
Overall in excellent condition (Excellent/Very Good). The porcelain is glossy and the gilded rims are very well preserved for pieces about 80 years old. The only two details to note (the nib on the sauce boat and the extra glued plate) have been described for maximum transparency and are visible in the dedicated macro photos.
SHIPPING AND PACKING:
Due to the delicacy and the high number of pieces, the service will be strictly divided and shipped in 2 or 3 separate cartons. Professional packaging will be used, reinforced with a "Box-in-Box" technique (double cardboard), thick bubble wrap, and protective foam barriers to guarantee absolute integrity of the pieces until destination.
