An impressive and original vintage factory lamp from the well-known brand Elektrosvit (Typ 25 400).
This is a true Eastern Bloc design classic from the 1960s/70s, produced in the former Czechoslovakia for use in heavy industries and workshops.
The shade is finished in a splendid dark gray/black speckled enamel and at the top features the distinctive heavy cast-iron/aluminum mounting housing with a hanging eye and the original nameplate.
The lamp is in excellent vintage condition and has been converted to a standard socket (suitable for an LED ambient lamp or a large spotlight head), making it ready to hang directly in a loft, living room, hospitality venue or above a dining table.
