A large specimen of fluorite from Balochistan, Pakistan, featuring an fascinating ice-gray hue. The specimen consists of a dense growth of tightly interpenetrating cubic crystals, forming a compact and dramatic structure. The crystal surfaces display evident natural growth terraces, well developed and distributed across much of the sample, adding depth and an interesting play of reflections.
The fluorite presents good translucency, particularly appreciable in transmitted light, where the delicate color and the internal crystal structure emerge more clearly. The photographs clearly show this effect, which further enhances the piece. There are a few natural imperfections and slight nicks at the margins of some crystals, compatible with the size and delicate nature of the mineral, without compromising the overall aesthetic impact.
A large-format specimen, with very expressive crystallization and an elegant color, ideal for mineral collections or as a display piece.
