Description from the seller
Wonderful mid-century sewing box on a tripod stand in bright blue. 1960s/1970s
Nicely designed sewing box in mid-century style with a round body on three slim, removable wooden legs. The piece impresses with its simple, timeless form and is suitable not only for storing sewing tools but also as a decorative side table or storage box.
The lid opens easily and reveals the practical internal compartment. Due to its compact size, the sewing box has versatile use and fits both modern and classic interiors.
Dimensions:
* Diameter: approx. 30 cm
* Height: approx. 42 cm
Condition:
Used, overall good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age. On the surface there are small stains as well as light age-related traces. Inside the lid and on the bottom there are discolorations. Please note the photos, as they are part of the description.
The sewing box has a sturdy wooden body, covered with a patterned, high-gloss faux leather cover (Vinyl/PVC). The cover was, as is typical for the manufacture from the 1950s to the 1970s, carefully fitted around the body and attached on the inside. The legs are made of painted white wood. This construction combines stability with an easy-care surface and is characteristic of many high-quality household and small furniture of the Mid-Century era.
Shipping:
For safe shipping, the three legs are unscrewed. They can be easily screwed back in after receipt, without tools.
