Vintage Commemorative Plate – Carlo and Diana Wedding (1981)

Palissy Manufacture (Royal Worcester) – Antique English Ceramic

A refined commemorative ceramic plate in ivory color, produced in 1981 in England by the famous Palissy manufactory (part of the Royal Worcester group), as stated by the original mark on the back.

The item was produced to celebrate the historic wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, held at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 29, 1981.

The central design depicts the portraits of the young couple embedded in a heraldic heart, surrounded by royal coats of arms, the lion, the unicorn and the motto "Ich Dien," along with the commemorative inscription "To Commemorate Their Marriage - 29th July 1981". The plate’s shaped rim is finely finished with a gold edge.

An unmissable piece for collectors of British Royals memorabilia and enthusiasts of vintage English ceramics.
