Unfortunately I could not find an "Audio" CD-R or CD-RW disc (with SCMS licensing code), and I was unable to test the recording function.

It was one of Philips' most advanced single-deck consumer CD recorders, designed for high-quality recording from analog and digital sources while also functioning as an excellent CD player.
