The Marantz NR 1603 is an AV receiver that isn’t much larger than your average stereo amplifier. Yet it delivers 7.1 surround sound at 50 watts per channel. Thanks to the compact enclosure, the NR1603 fits in any TV cabinet and shows you the latest HD audio formats such as DTS HD and Dolby True HD. The NR1603 even adjusts the sound to the acoustics of your room thanks to Audyssey MultEQ. Video is also superb with 1080p full HD playback. Besides all this audiovisual spectacle, ease of use is also very good.
