This object is a pique-fleur, or rose-stopper, consisting of a blown glass vase and a matching brass grille.
The metal grille or FROG is designed to hold flower stems individually in place for an orderly arrangement.

The style is Art Deco and dates from the period 1920-1935. Made by the Scailmont glass factory. The name is printed in the glass.

In very good condition with few signs of use.

Dit object is een pique-fleur of rozensteker ,bestaande uit een geblazen glazen vaas en een bijhorende messing rooster.
Het metalen rooster of FROG is ontworpen om bloemen;stelen individueel op hun plek te houden voor een georganiseerd bloemstuk.

De stijl is Art Deco en dateert uit de periode 1920-1935. Gemaakt door de glasfabriek van Scailmont. De naam staat gedrukt in het glas.

In zeer goede staat met weinig gebruikssporen.
