Important specimen of natural fluorite from Belucistan, Pakistan, characterized by large interconnected crystals of gray-violet color, with translucent zones that allow observation of the mineral's internal structure.
The surfaces show pronounced step-like growth and particular forms of natural dissolution. Among the crystals there is a white mineral material, partly compact and partly encrusting, which penetrates some cavities and is visible also through the more transparent portions of the fluorite. Its composition has not been analyzed and is therefore left unidentified.
The cavities, irregularities and seemingly corroded zones are part of the natural formation of the specimen and create an interesting contrast between the gray-translucent fluorite and the white mineralizations.
