Specimen: a wooden walking cane with a bone handle, hand-carved with bass-relief Japanese life and costume scenes, Art Nouveau, origin Japan, estimated 1940–1950, height up to 86 cm (handle 16.5 cm, grip width 3.6 cm, shaft diameter 2.6 cm), weight 260 g, initials in solid gold “A B” under the handle, good condition with rare use and slight signs of wear.

Rare and particular "bagolina" with a blond-wood shaft and a bone grip, entirely handcrafted and turn-ed all around.
Carving in relief with motifs in bas-relief representing scenes of life and Japanese customs (Geishas, landscapes and flowers).
Solid gold initials "A B" inlaid under the grip, at the top of the shaft, which add a touch of class to the object of otherwise very pleasant and characteristic nature.
Good condition.
