Calderoni - Cutlery set for 12 (50) - .800 silver

An exceptional 50-piece silver cutlery set, crafted from solid 800 silver, originating from the renowned Milanese silversmith Calderoni.
This set embodies the classic Italian silversmith craftsmanship from the early 20th century: elegant, durable and with a timeless appearance that is rarely found today.

The set comes from a historic Italian family, where it was carefully preserved for many years and used only on special occasions. Thanks to this care, the cutlery is in excellent condition, with a beautiful, even sheen and clear silver hallmarks ARG.800 visible.
There are of course some signs of use, but not disruptive!

Calderoni ranks among the leading Italian silversmiths of the 20th century, known for high-quality table silver collections that are highly sought after today by collectors and antique silver enthusiasts. This 50-piece ensemble is a rare find, especially in this complete composition and quality.

The silver cutlery is offered for verification at a recognized jeweler. The jeweler visually inspected the full set, confirming the presence of the hallmarks ARG 800 and ARG 800 X. Subsequently, an acid test was performed (HNO₃) to confirm the alloy reaction. Based on these test methods, it was determined that the cutlery consists of an 800/1000 silver alloy, corresponding to 80% pure silver.
