Wanderer-Werke - Continental Standard - Typewriter - 1946

Up for auction is a beautiful, fully restored 1947 Continental Standard desktop typewriter (serial number 990985), made in Germany by Wanderer-Werke.

Finding a classic German machine in top condition like this is very rare. The glossy black paint and metal pieces look fantastic, and the original logos are clean and intact.

The typewriter also works perfectly. It features a traditional German QWERTZ keyboard layout (including umlauts) and a red-and-black ribbon selector. The carriage moves smoothly, the margin bell rings clear, and the keys type fast. I have already installed a brand-new black and red ribbon on the original metal spools, so you can start typing right away.
