Santana 109, 1976, located in Spain.
Description from the seller
GENERAL:
Land Rover - Santana 109 - 1976. Produced under license by the Spanish company Metalúrgica de Santa Ana in Linares, Jaén, the Santana 109 of Series III is an icon of Iberian classic motors. Unlike its British counterparts, Santana models incorporated their own innovations highly valued by collectors, such as one-piece windshields in later versions, adapted electrical systems, and legendary structural robustness for rural work. This specimen has a history of only two previous owners, is a national vehicle and offers the peculiarity of having 10 seats (9 of them properly homologated). Visit-able in Spain, in the province of La Coruña.
BODYWORK AND PAINT:
Original front grille. Rear emblem 109 Especial with normal wear. New Land Rover Santana side skirts. 4 Deestone Extra Traction tires at about 90% use and 1 spare tire of Firestone used.
MECHANICS:
Silentblock kit in good condition. Leaf springs in good condition. 4 new PR2-PRO shock absorbers. Rear axle suspension belts new. Brake pump inspected, hydraulic system pipes partially replaced, new wheel cylinders and brake shoes at 80% life remaining. Electrical system fully renewed, new high-capacity battery, lights, indicators and windshield wiper system working perfectly. Engine recently painted and inspected with more than €3,000 invested in repairs. Clutch in good condition, gearbox and differentials functioning perfectly. The vehicle starts perfectly cold and hot; during cold start it emits a little blue smoke for a few seconds which disappears once the engine is hot. Maintenance performed recently. The vehicle may show small oil leaks through the reservoir plugs. Exhaust line with supports in good condition.
INTERIOR:
Original headliner with small peeling on the sides. Heater blower working perfectly. Slight wear on the floor coverings near the gear levers. Front seats in synthetic leather new and rear seats in vehicle’s original leather with the usual wear from use and time. Lower door paneling new and upper part original with normal wear. Dashboard reupholstered. Steering wheel and original gear lever knobs.
DOCUMENTATION:
Vehicle with valid ITV (annual vehicle inspection). Maintenance invoice attached for recent work. There are no invoices for repairs or maintenance from earlier years because it belonged to a private individual.
PICKUP:
Location for viewing and collection in the province of La Coruña, Spain.
OTHER INFORMATION:
National 10-seat vehicle (9 homologated) with only two previous owners.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
