Snuff box - .925 silver - 18th-century

Very distinctive 19th-century snuff box, signed with the letters “DS” on the front of the box.
It has an extra lid on the inside.
This box is 42.0 mm wide, 31.9 mm deep and 20.5 mm high.
I find in Elias Voet’s booklet that “DS” stands for Dirk Suyker, a well-known silversmith.
Also on the edge is the city date mark of Amsterdam, 1804-1811.
It is very special to have the extra lid.
The box is in perfect condition, nothing worn or dented; the inner lid is also perfect and the hinge is in good condition.
This is a rare chance to find such a perfectly preserved early 19th-century Amsterdam snuff box.
