Principia was created by blending the distillates directly in the barrel (“Blended in the barrel”), combining spirits produced from the distillery’s two traditional stills:

* Copper Double Retort Pot Still
* Traditional Coffey Still

The rum was entirely tropical-aged at Foursquare Distillery in Barbados:

* 3 years in ex-Bourbon casks
* 6 years in ex-Sherry casks

Bottled at full Barrel Proof without dilution.
