Very rare special model - Special - from Thorens.
This model of the turntable has an incredibly stable rotation speed of 0.08%.
The turntable comes from the golden era of German hi-fi. One of the best, fully manual Thorens turntables.
The turntable has two speeds: 33 and 45 RPM.
The precise S-shaped tonearm features a gimbal suspension and delivers very good sound quality.
Hydraulically damped tonearm lift.
The vibration-damping sub-chassis with high mass inertia.
The chassis is mounted on damped springs to protect the drive from shocks and feedback.
With a large, heavy zinc alloy platter weighing 2.3 kg.
