A silver-plated Art Nouveau table set by Parisian silversmith Armand Frenais, dating to the 1940s, comprising a 22 cm wide, 23 cm high box and a 31 cm long dusting brush with a total weight of 673 g and two items.

Magnificent Art Nouveau silver-plated table duster (dusting cloth with matching tin) by the French silversmith Armand Frenais.
Armand Frénais was a very well-known and high-quality French master silversmith (orfèvre).
The workshop of the silversmith Armand Frénais was at the time one of the main competitors of the famous brand Christofle.
The firm was based in Paris on Boulevard Richard-Lenoir.
The brand was registered on 13 September 1877 and ceased to exist in September 1927
Stamped with the master mark A (Anchor) F
The word Métal Parisien (this was the patented brand name Frenais used for a specific, high-quality tin-based alloy. This bright metal alloy was ideal for galvanic silvering.
