IKEA – Lisa Norinder – BENJAMIN stool – bent plywood – vintage 1990s
Description
Original vintage BENJAMIN stool from IKEA, designed by the Swedish designer Lisa Norinder.
The stool is made of bent and laminated plywood with a warm, natural wood color. The design consists of a single smoothly formed element with rounded corners and characteristic rectangular cutouts in both side panels.
Thanks to its minimalist and multifunctional design, the BENJAMIN can be used as a stool, side table, nightstand, plant stand, or decorative design object. A recognizable example of practical Scandinavian design from the 1990s.
The model is no longer in production and is therefore beloved by collectors of vintage IKEA and Scandinavian design.
