Description from the seller
My two lamps capture that perfect crossing between Art Deco and Hollywood Regency, a blend that only happened with true naturalness in the mid-20th century, when warm-brass, geometric shapes, and theatrical accents coexisted effortlessly in home design.
The brass, warm and luminous, structures both pieces with an elegant presence: slender pedestals, decorative rings, small circular volumes that provide visual rhythm and that taste for symmetry so inherent to Art Deco. But atop that geometric base appears the Hollywood touch: the sensuality of gold, the almost stage-like shine, the way each element seems designed to catch the light and return it with a soft flash.
The frosted glass shades, with floral reliefs and gold details, add the romantic and cinematic note. They are not neutral screens: they are small glass sculptures that filter the light with a wrapping softness, creating that warm atmosphere that defines Hollywood Regency lighting. The upper finial, in the shape of a gold cone, completes the silhouette with an elegant, almost jewelry-like gesture.
Taken together, these two lamps function as a decorative pair of great character: balanced, sophisticated, with that dialogue between modern geometry and classic glamour that turns any space into an intimate stage. They are period pieces, with soul, with that shine that is not only material but aesthetic and emotional.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
