Description from the seller
This elegant set of two original Kullmann table lamps is a wonderful example of West German design from the 1970s.
The lamps combine a slim, minimalist design with warm materials and refined colors, making them both decorative and functional.
The slender base is made of brass-colored metal and is paired with a softly pink lacquered metal shaft. This color combination gives the lamps a chic, timeless appearance that fits perfectly within Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, Space Age and Eclectic interiors.
Particularly notable are the original fabric lampshades, featuring a decorative floral motif in warm gold and brown tones.
When the lamps are lit, a cozy diffused light emerges, with the pattern coming beautifully to life.
The combination of the warm brass color, the subtle pink, and the original shades makes this set exceptionally decorative.
Thanks to the sleek design, the lamps are versatile.
They look striking on a sideboard, on nightstands, a sidetable, or as atmospheric lighting in a living room, bedroom or hotel lobby.
Both lamps are in good vintage condition and fully functional. The wiring has been tested and the lamps work as intended. There are light signs of wear on the brass parts, including a few small wear spots and superficial scratches that are in keeping with an age of about fifty years. The lampshades are in neat condition and retain their original shape and appearance. These authentic signs of wear underscore the character of original vintage design objects.
