Beautiful set of 2 vintage “Diana” armchairs, designed by Karin Mobring for IKEA in the 1970s.
The Diana armchair is a true classic within vintage IKEA design: a low, relaxed safari chair model with a strong graphic silhouette, wooden frame, fabric seat and backrest, and distinctive details. The combination of dark wood, natural fabric, and the airy construction gives the chairs a warm, sober, and timeless look.
They fit beautifully into a wabi-sabi, bohemian, brutalist, Scandinavian, vintage, or warm minimalist interior. Lovely as a set in a living area, reading nook, veranda, studio, retail space, or around a low coffee table.
The armchairs have a beautifully lived-in vintage appearance with normal signs of use, slight discoloration, and patina appropriate to their age. Not new or perfectly restored chairs, but authentic pieces with character, history, and presence.
