Six polychrome maiolica plates, decoration in “barbottina” with flowers in shallow relief, peonies, roses, insects, inspired by the decoration of Chinese porcelain. The edge shape is wavily multiform, notched and bordered in brown/red, typical of Milanese style of the time. This is a faithful copy of a plate crafted in the 17th century by the Milanese artist Pasquale Rubati. In the last two images you can see the old plates that went to auction. The stickers from the prestigious shop Janetti, Naples, from the 1960s have been removed.
