Bookends - Elm - Bookend in pyrography

Large extendable bookend in elm wood (iepe) which was transformed into a true work of art. The technique used to achieve this figuration is called pyrography or wood burning.
To achieve variation in color, acids were applied to discolor the wood.
On the outer side of the supports, a copper figurative plate was attached that emphasizes a mythical figure.
This stand is extendable, usable from a closed position (42 cm) to fully extended (72 cm).
This is a unique piece made with a great deal of artistic knowledge.
