This collaboration was created to commemorate Keiichi Tanaami's first major retrospective exhibition, 'Adventures in Memory,' which was held at the National Art Center Tokyo, from August 7 to November 11, 2024.

This Barbie doll features a multi-layer pleated leather dress adorned with Tanaami's illustrations and chiffon sleeves that flutter gracefully in the wind. A raised-relief figure decorates her chest, while a drawstring net bag contains a goldfish. Her yellow headdress is adorned with curious eyes and vinyl lashes. The eye at the center of the crown symbolizes art and fashion, possessing the power to see everything while keeping its secrets.
