XS Elephant Bead Talisman, Indus Valley culture, made of agate, dimensions 9 by 14 by 7.6 mm, original and authentic, in good condition, dating to the first millennium AD or older; acquired in 1995 from Hungary, with provenance from a previous owner who acquired it in 1970 in Mongolia.

An archaic glass elephant bead talisman from the ancient Indus Valley culture.
1st millennium AD or older .
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand forming, cutting, carving, boring and grinding . Traces of use and age on its surface. There are still excavation's deposits in the deeper lying parts of the piece.
Purchased in 1995/Budapest by Dr. Zelnik from the collection of a former ambassador in Mongolia,H.E.B.I.
