After Chaudet D. A. 1763-1810 - Bust, NAPOLEON - 60 cm - Composite

First and the only replica of the 2 existing bronzes ! One is located at the musee napoleonien at Ile d Aix ( the offered bust was printed directly on this original ) , the other one is in the private collection in the UK. The ateliers moulage RMN Paris, who made this replica , were granted the rare permission to make the cast directly on the museum original ! Napoleon bust, originaly modeled by the famous Chaudet, is shown as the roman emperor , with toga and ornamented belt wearing imperial insignias: eagle, sceptre , bee, crown and star.
