Ensign Optiscope No. 6 – Vintage Magic Lantern Projector – Great Britain – ca. 1925-1935
Rare and original Ensign Optiscope No. 6 projector lantern, manufactured by Ensign Ltd., London (Great Britain). This exceptional device is presumed to date from the period 1925-1935 and is a beautiful example of early British projection technology.
The projector is in a beautiful, original condition and is equipped with its original 10-inch Projection Lens and focus bellows. The characteristic black hammered finish is largely intact, as is the original nameplate on the front.
The device is constructed from heavy metal and cast iron and forms both an impressive collectible and a decorative object for enthusiasts of photography, cinema, optical instruments, and industrial design.
