2019 Travaglini Vigna Ronchi - Piedmont Riserva - 4 Bottles (0.75L)

Prestigious cru from the historic Travaglini winery, produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes sourced exclusively from the Vigna Ronchi vineyard, in the heart of the Gattinara DOCG denomination.

Long maturation in large oak barrels and subsequent bottle aging, for a wine of great elegance and longevity.

On the nose it offers intense notes of ripe cherry, plum, dried rose, undergrowth, leather, fine spices, and a pronounced mineral character typical of the volcanic soils of Gattinara. On the palate it is deep, structured and refined, with noble tannins and a long, persistent finish.

The 2019 vintage was particularly appreciated by international critics, with scores up to 98/100 from James Suckling, as well as 94/100 Falstaff, 93/100 Vinous, 92/100 Wine Enthusiast (Cellar Selection) and 95/100 Kerin O’Keefe.
