Description from the seller
Stephan Saint Emett was born in Santander, Spain, in 1962. When he was four years old, he moved with his parents to France. He studied literature, architecture, and visual arts in Paris. He studied at the renowned Parisian studio Penninghen/ESAG (école supérieure d’art graphique) and then devoted himself to animated film. He made a short film that was awarded several times. In addition, he created three-dimensional figurines of his film characters to achieve a closer connection with and understanding of his characters. Initially, he carved from a block of polystyrene, soon after from wood putty and then in polyester resin, which allowed him to work more practically, faster and, above all, more precisely. His passion for women inspired him to create a collection of new “Pin-Ups” from different eras, seated in design chairs.
