Comtoise clock - Antique - Wrought iron - 1750-1800 - Comtoise clock type Mayet

Antique Comtoise clock of the Mayet type, circa 1750. A few parts are missing: pendulum, bell, weights, winding key, some ornaments at the front have not been preserved; additionally, other smaller parts may be missing. The side panels are also no longer present.
The mechanism appears to be complete; the numerous photos allow assessing this. It is a rather primitive timepiece with only one hand, which has nevertheless remained intact.
As such, it is a handsome focal point for lovers of clockwork technology, but for the experienced collector it is also certainly a feasible restoration project, because the essential parts are still present.
