Portable turntable Silen with Lesa Gutex mechanism – 1950s/’60s

Elegant vintage portable turntable Silen, equipped with Lesa Gutex mechanism and preserved in its original green-lined suitcase.

The device features a refined mid-century design, with worked metal surface, original controls and built-in speaker. It is complete with platter, arm, cartridge, power cable and a speed selector for 16, 33, 45 and 78 RPM.

The unit powers on regularly and the indicator light works. The platter spins at all available speeds (16, 33, 45 and 78 RPM) when the tonearm is engaged. Audio playback has not been tested with a record.

Aesthetically, the condition is good for its age, with normal signs of wear and use visible in the photographs. The suitcase, handle and main components are present.
