Magnificent and rare pair of large decorative round cushions, entirely handmade and hand-embroidered. These unique pieces perfectly capture the bohemian chic, shabby chic, and upscale country-house spirit.
The top surface is crafted from high-quality natural linen canvas.
It features traditional embroidery of remarkable finesse, combining floral motifs and complex geometric arabesques. One observes a masterful work blending contrasting French knots and lazy daisy stitches in shades of dusky rose, mustard yellow, and burgundy, highlighted by delicate black and green stems.
The sides of the cushions showcase a stunning pleated design in burgundy satin (or taffeta) with a silky sheen, perfectly structured by a double twisted two-tone piping cord and a decorative knot.
Condition: Excellent overall, near mint. The linen fabric is impeccable, the colors are vivid, and the embroidery shows no loose threads. Generous padding providing excellent shape and volume.
