A single complete archive of approximately 27,000 original Danish film programmes in Danish, dating from the 1920s to the 1980s and including Tarzan, printed on paper in very good condition.
Description from the seller
An exceptional archive of more than 27,000 original vintage Danish film programmes, offered as one complete collection.
This is a serious cinema ephemera archive, not a small mixed assortment. The collection consists exclusively of original Danish film programmes with Danish text and covers an extremely wide range of titles, stars, genres and decades.
The archive includes material dating from the silent-film era of the 1920s through to approximately the 1980s. It contains substantial depth, including many duplicate copies, making it especially attractive to collectors, dealers and resellers.
Most programmes measure approximately 15.5 x 12 cm, with a smaller number being slightly larger. This is the classic compact cinema programme format familiar to collectors of vintage film memorabilia: visually striking, easy to store and full of period character.
The archive includes a broad selection of material such as Hollywood classics, European cinema, westerns, war films, adventure films, dramas and major star-driven releases produced for the Danish market.
Representative names and subjects include James Bond and Sean Connery, Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan, Ingmar Bergman and many other classic and collectible films, actors and directors.
The real strength of this collection lies in its combination of scale, visual appeal and resale potential. With approximately 27,000 programmes in one archive, this is a collection that rewards sorting, cataloguing and specialist knowledge. It will appeal both to the dedicated collector and to the dealer planning to divide and resell the collection gradually.
