It presents a unique aesthetic blending a “hammered” finish with chrome front elements.
This refurbishing work was carried out by a professional specialist. The process consisted of stripping the original chrome plating from each piece, then applying several coats of high-quality oven-baked gloss enamel. A four-layer application technique ensures a durable finish resistant to chipping; this meticulous work guarantees longevity while preventing oxidation and chipping of the paint.
The body is in excellent condition and perfectly functional, with an impeccable and elegant finish. All components have been tested; the body is in very good condition and the shutter speeds are accurate. The rangefinder mechanism operates correctly and the shutter curtains are perfectly flat and defect-free.
The viewfinder has been serviced by Leica professionals; it is bright and clear, allowing rapid and precise focusing thanks to the yellow target dot.
The light meter cell activates correctly and includes the original battery; the battery compartment is free of any corrosion. Please note that the cell has not undergone rigorous calibration testing; therefore, absolute measurement precision is not guaranteed.
Delivered with a Voigtländer brass adapter ring (L39 mount to LM) and a body cap.
