The Italian designer-entrepreneur Angelo Lelli - also written "Lelii" as it reads in some of his signatures - founded the innovative lighting company Arredoluce in Manza, Italy, in the years around World War II. Only a few biographical details about Lelli have survived, but according to some sources he lived from 1911 to 1979. The designer was an active and decisive figure during the postwar Italian design boom, and is today regarded as a key personality of the modernist era of lighting design. This original chandelier from the 1950s has the patina of time and still retains the original wires and bulb holders. It has only been cleaned. It has a small defect in one of the three lamps (see photo). It will be shipped only within the European Community, with traceable professional packaging.
