STANTON 681EEE Cartridge Cell - Original Metal Body - SME Headshell - Tested + Brush.
Fully tested and in perfect working order. The two channels provide a clean, even reading. Original Stanton brush present and functional. Mounted on an SME-type cartridge holder, ready to install.
The Stanton 681 EEE is the reference and calibration cartridge used by sound engineers and radio stations in the 1970s and 1980s. It is renowned for its extremely flat frequency response, exceptional dynamics, and its famous “Broadcasting” sound: deep bass, rich mids, and highs that are never harsh. A treat for rock, jazz, and vintage pressings.

Original Stanton diamond. Perfect readout. Flexible suspension. Remaining life unknown, sold as used.
Cartridge adjusted to Technics gauge of 52 mm.
Technical specifications:
Principle: MI / moving iron (often equated to MM for phono use).
Frequency response: 10 Hz – 22 kHz.
Output: about 3.5 mV at 5 cm/s.
Channel separation: 35 dB at 1 kHz.
Recommended load: 47 kΩ and about 275 pF of capacity.
Recommended tracking force: 0.75 to 1.5 g without brush, and +1 g with integrated cleaning brush ANti-Skating to adjust on the weight with the brush.
Compatible with Stanton replacement diamonds and original JICO D6800.
