Luxembourg 1852/2004 - Top Collection

The stamps were organized by the previous owner by year and issue. For numerous stamps, series and blocks, additional handwritten catalog numbers as well as notes on condition were recorded, for example mint, unused, or with a crease or cancelled.

Includes, among others:

- classic mint and used issues dating from 1852,
- coat-of-arms and portrait issues of the 19th century,
- issues of various Grand Dukes and Grand Duchesses,
- numerous overprint values and higher denominations,
- service, postage due and airmail issues,
- welfare, children’s aid and Caritas series,
- Europa and EUROPA-CEPT issues,
- many complete or largely complete sets,
- various special, commemorative and anniversary issues,
- several blocks and commemorative sheets,
- well-represented ranges from the pre- and post-war periods,
- extensive continuation up to 2004.

Particularly interesting are the classic part, the issues from the 1920s and 1930s, several welfare and airmail series, as well as several older and modern block issues.
