An elegant and imposing 19th-century French neo-Baroque (Historicist) mantel clock, sold and certified by the renowned Dutch court clockmaker Gerard de Visser in Arnhem.
The clock is surmounted by a beautifully detailed, patinated zinc alloy sculptural group (régule), based on the designs of renowned French masters (such as the Moreau brothers).
