Description from the seller

Unique! Renault 19 TSE Hatchback 1991 – 100,000 km on the odometer! Automatic, Collector’s Condition

For sale is an exceptional Renault 19 hatchback from 1991 in the TSE version.
The car is equipped with a classic, reliable 1.7 L petrol engine (1721 cm³, 73 HP) and an automatic transmission.
The car, in a beautiful red color, boasts an original, very low mileage of about 100,000 km.
The vehicle is registered and insured in Poland, with a valid technical inspection until 04.05.2027.
The car is fully functional, in excellent condition and ready to hit the road.
The car comes with 2 original keys (including one with a central locking remote).

Vehicle history:
The car was imported from Germany, where it had been in the hands of a single family since new:
•21.01.1991 – first registration by the first owner (born in 1926).
•1994 – formal transfer of the car to his wife (born in 1933).
•2026 – imported to Poland. We are currently the third owner in the vehicle’s history.

Service and mechanics
From the beginning, the vehicle was serviced at Renault Authorized Service Stations (ASO). All service checks were performed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and on schedule,
which is confirmed by the Service Book and the history available in Renault’s database by VIN.

After import to Poland, the car underwent a thorough, meticulous service in our workshop, which included:
Oil and filter change in the engine
Brake fluid replacement
Oil and filter change in the automatic transmission
Spark plug replacement
Air filter replacement
Coolant replacement
Battery replacement
Replacement of rear shock absorbers
Replacement of control arm bushings

Paint and bodywork: The body is in very good condition. According to our measurements, two elements were repainted in Germany (front right fender and front right door – the sensor shows values up to 200 microns in some spots). It was a minor damage, and the repair was performed very professionally. In our workshop, due to minor parking scrapes on the corners, we refreshed the paint on the bumpers – the car now looks perfect. The rest of the bodywork has 100% original paint, which after 35 years looks excellent.
There may be minimal, tiny signs of age, but they are practically unnoticeable.

Chassis: In factory condition, completely corrosion-free, never repaired or welded.
Suspension, driving dynamics, braking system, and exhaust are in great condition and require no financial outlay.

Interior: impeccably maintained and clean. The velour upholstery with distinctive tiny specks shows no wear and feels very pleasant to the touch.
The windows, lights, electrical system, locks, and seals are complete and fully functional. Only the right rear door trim shows minimal age-related wear.

Very rich equipment (TSE version):
For the early 90s, the equipment of this version is impressive:
Automatic transmission
Power windows on the front
Central locking operated from a remote
Factory thermal-insulated glass
Velour upholstery
Height and lumbar adjustment in the driver’s seat
Asymmetrically split rear seat (1/3 - 2/3) with pockets in the front seatbacks
Oil level/condition indicator on the dashboard and coolant temperature gauge
Climate-friendly, YELLOW front fog lights + rear fog light
Original radio with antenna, 6 speakers and factory speaker cover
Two-tone horn and chime warning when lights are on
Braking system with enhanced braking power
Original hubcaps

Summary:
We offer a unique example of a classic Renault 19. The car is kept in excellent condition, with a documented history, superb interior, and low mileage.
This is an ideal proposition for a collector or as a capital investment.

Transport:
If you buy this car, you can easily drive away on its own wheels, it has insurance and a technical inspection, and if you need transport, we will help organize it.

Best regards.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
