The exterior surfaces of both pieces are decorated with hand-worked plant and floral relief motifs, consistent with mid-19th-century Central European domestic silversmithing practice. The base of each piece is stamped with the Austro-Hungarian fineness numeral 13, denoting 800/1000 silver purity; no maker's mark or workshop signature has been identified on either piece.
