Vintage handwoven rattan table lamp, boho chic, circa 1980-1990. Warm, graphic and full of 80s character.

This vintage table lamp features a tall, tapered foot fully clad in carefully woven rattan. The different weave patterns, dark accents and warm honey tones give the lamp lots of depth and presence.

The rectangular shape makes it a bit more exciting than the well-known round rattan lamps. The brass-colored details provide a refined finish. When the light is on, the fabric lampshade emits a soft and warm glow.

Place it on a dark wooden sideboard, beside a low armchair, or on a sidetable with ceramics and art books. It fits beautifully within boho chic, natural modern, coastal, eclectic and vintage design.

The design and material choice align with handwoven rattan lighting from Southeast Asia, such as this style produced a lot in the 1980s.
