Exclusive lot with two Colombian rums from Dictador (Cartagena de Indias, founded in 1913): Dictador 12 Years and Dictador 20 Years.
Both are produced from virgin sugarcane honey, distilled in copper pot stills and aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry (Oloroso & PX) oak casks. Bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl.
The 12 Years offers a smooth and balanced profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, dried fruits and light spices. The 20 Years shows greater depth and complexity with dried fruits, chocolate, coffee, oak and warm spices.
