WMF / Geislingen - Cruet set - Crystal, Silverplated

Antique WMF Silvered and Crystal Menage / Oil and Vinegar Set – Jugendstil, ca. 1900.
Description: Stunning and extremely elegant antique oil and vinegar set (menage) from the world-famous German manufacturer WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), dating from the late Jugendstil / Art Nouveau period (ca. 1900).
The set consists of a refined, silver-plated holder with a graceful central handle and rests on four characteristic globe feet. The holder bears along the rim the authentic, early WMF master mark in elegant script (see detail photo).
The holder accommodates five accompanying glass flasks/pots, made in beautifully cut crystal or pressed glass with a stylish diamond/waffle pattern: 2 large decanters with beautifully facet-cut crystal stoppers (for oil and vinegar). 1 smaller decanter with facet-cut crystal stopper. 2 sprinkles jars/mustard pots with metal lids (for pepper, salt or spices); it is not certain whether these lids are original, and the middle jar has a chip at the rim of the neck—see photos for a clear view.
In reasonable antique condition with signs of age and use. The silvering is nicely preserved and has a beautiful, authentic patina (can be polished if desired).
